Professional Profile:

Matt Spicer BSc MSMA (Massage Therapist)

Hi, my name is Matt Spicer. Graduating from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2017 with a (BSc) Hons in Sports Conditioning, Rehabilitation, and Massage.

As a former footballer with a history of recurring injuries, I have a keen interest to ensure that other athletes and members of the general public do not experience the same.

During university I took an interest in Athletics and Football, becoming an intern for both Cardiff Met Athletics Sprint team and Pontypridd Town AFC, where I helped to recover and rehabilitate athletes back to full fitness. Since, I have been privileged enough to work at some local athletics events, such the St. Davis Day run and the 2016 Welsh Athletics Championships. I am looking to continue this work within the community, local athletes, as well as international athletes and within professional clubs. I am an accredited member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA).
